Experience Horowhenua’s tastiest event the Horowhenua Taste Trail – showcasing 9 of Horowhenua specialist food producers and a farm tour.
The nine producers on the trail create and produce a variety of excellent food and produce, and include: RJs Licorice, Woodhaven Gardens, Tendertips Asparagus, Genoese Pesto, Turks Poultry, Ōhau Wines, Woodys Free Range Farm, Levin Eels, Country Treats.
At each stop on the trail participants will be taken through an experience which showcases the produce, from factory tours to gourmet food trucks, tastings to farm tours, the trail will showcase the journey our locally made food takes from the paddock to plate, or factory to supermarket. Each stop on the trail is free admission, but there are goodies and treats to buy along the way.
